Who are we?
The Trust was created in 1989 as a company limited by guarantee, and it became a registered charity at the beginning of 1990.
The objects of the Trust are: -
‘To promote any charitable purpose in England and Wales and particularly to provide improved housing conditions and associated amenities for persons in necessitous circumstances upon terms appropriate to their means, thereby improving the quality of life of such persons.’
We are an established body run by experienced trustees who are able up to help other trusts in their work.
The trust’s purpose and powers have been widely drawn to give maximum flexibility in what it can do within charity law.
